Gate Scan
Automatic gate-in and gate-out logging from IP cameras. Gate Scan reads the container number off passing containers, validates every read against the ISO 6346 check digit, and records the movement — no manual keying, no transcription errors.
Gate Scan is in beta. Reading accuracy depends on camera placement and lighting, so every installation begins with a site survey and a tuning period.
What it does
Automatic number capture
Reads the container number from the camera feed as the vehicle passes the gate.
ISO 6346 validation
Every read is checked against the container number's own check digit, so a misread is rejected rather than logged as a real container.
Direction from the lane
Entry and exit cameras record gate-in and gate-out separately, with repeat reads of the same vehicle collapsed into one movement.
Excel reporting
Search movements by date range, time of day, container number, direction or camera, and export exactly what you see.
Runs at the yard
Installs on a standalone server on site. No internet connection required once set up.
Operator corrections
A misread can be corrected by hand; the original reading is kept, so the audit trail stays intact.
